- At the beginning of the enquiry, the first witnesses called were the Doctor Who attended last to Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke Dr Adebisi Aderele, host of Senator Adeleke at Kuta, Amobi Akintola and the deputy governor of Osun state Titi-Laoye Tomori.
Amobi Akintola, the chairman of APC in Osun West senatorial District who was celebrating the demise of his mother graced the witness box to give account of what he knew about the death of late Senator Adeleke.
Contradictions however set in as Amobi maintained that Late Senator Adeleke neither ate nor drank anything at his party.
The deputy governor of Osun state Titi Laoye-Tomori in her own account faults Amobi's claim, insisting that Late Senator Adeleke ate an admixture of white, jollof and fried rice at Honourable Amobi's party.
The deputy governor further narrated how Late Senator Adeleke took four morsels out of the food which was served without either meat or fish. While Amobi insisted that the favourite of late Adeleke which was Semo was served and declined, the deputy governor said Late Adeleke actually ate though with utmost reluctance.
This is coming as the coroner inquest also quizzed the Chief Medical Director of Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital Proffesor Lasisi who confirmed that Late Senator Adeleke was injected by an uncertified medical personnel with some dextrose, intravenius fluid giving set, and scalp vein needle, with two amples of analgin, four amples of 10mg of Valium, pentasozine, getamicine and diazepam all given in excess dosage which are capable of reflex collapse, and blockage of respiratory system.
The late senator was also administered with an outlawed drug called Analgin.
