AKINTOLA: NEITHER ME NOR MY AIDE WILL DIGNIFY SHITTU WITH RESPONSE

Pursuant to the release of a solidarity group for Chief Adeniyi Akintola, SAN which was earlier credited to the learned silk's media aide, condemning the disparaging press release supposedly issued by the media aide to Shittu Adebayo, the Honourable Minister for Communication, attacking the personality of Akintola.


Akintola had swiftly reacted to the rumoured accreditation of the said relase to his media aide stating that neither him nor his media aide would dignify Shittu with a response to the disparaging comment, not now.

In his statement, chief Akintola said:

"Gentlemen in the house, neither my media Aide nor I authorised the above post...

"Our resolve is not to dignify Mr Shittu with any reply for now. There has been no press releases from me and my  campaign organisation on myself and any aspirant. There is no reason for such for now.

"Thanks to all in the house", he said.
