3 NIGERIANS WHO CAN MEET NNAMDI KANU's BAIL CONDITIONS- see

Conditions for the bail as listed by the Trial Justice Binta Nyako includes 3 sureties one of which must be a “highly respected and recognised Jewish leader”.
The other two sureties must be a “highly placed person of Igbo extraction such as a Senator”, and “a highly respected person who is resident and owns landed property in Abuja”. Each of the sureties is to deposit N100million each.

Earlier reports (not NaijaHQ) of rejection of bail conditions by the plaintiff family were refuted by Counsel to the IPOB leader.

However prominent Igbo leaders have expressed reservation about the bail conditions. Former President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife described the bail conditions as “being too stringent”.

1. Senator Ike Ekweremadu
Senator Ike Ekweremadu has been very vocal in the call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. During his visit to Enugu for the South East Economic and Security Summit, the Deputy Senate President had expressed displeasure over the fact that courts of competent jurisdiction have ruled that they should be released and wondered why they should still be held in custody.

He is one of the few who can meet the bail conditions, although it is unclear whether his office as the Deputy President of the Nigeria Upper legislative house might put him in an uneasy position to serve as a surety for someone charged with alleged treason and promoter of Biafra succession from Nigeria.

2. Osita Chidoka
Former Aviation Minister Osita Chidoka was among the first prominent Igbo leader who was optimistic that the bail conditions will be met. He was among the dignitaries who stood by Nnamdi Kanu during the bail application hearing.

Sharing his optimism on his Twitter page, the former minister however expressed concern over government compliance with judicial orders.

He is well loaded to meet with the “N100M and properties in Abuja” bail conditions”.

3. Bruce Fein
The Global Jewish Community Attorney, Bruce Fein is likely to be the arrowhead is the search for the “highly respected and recognised jewish leader”.

The International Law Expert has been among those “mobilizing behind liberation of Biafra-Nation-State from British-Nigeria occupation of all Biafra territorial space”.

His personal relationship with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and his position in the global Jewish community is expected to help facilitate the presentation of a surety that will meet with the bail requirements.

Another highly placed Nigerian that may make the list is the controversial Femi Fani-Kayode who alongside the Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose was among the dignitaries present during the bail application hearing.
