AMIDST CONTROVERSIES LAUTECH REOPENS
following the latest protest by students of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, which drew the attention of Oyo State Government of which the State Governor was spurred to address the students. The address which many opined was 'unpalatable and reckless'. The highly criticized address of Gov. Ajimobi to students was widely circulated in a video popularly tagged "Constituted Authority".
Following this, the Authority of the university had issued a statement calling for the resumption of students. The message from the Registrar of the institution reads:
Dear All,
All staff and student are hereby informed that the University will reopen for normal activities on Friday, January 27, 2017.
Students are to note the following for compliance:
Friday, January 27: Resumption
Friday February 3: Revision week ends
Friday, February 10: Lecture week ends
Monday, February 13: Harmattan Semester examination begins.
all students who are yet to complete their registration are to ensure that they do so and pay their tuition fee during the revision week.
