PRESIDENT TRUMP FIRES US ATTORNEY GENERAL THAT CRITICIZED HIS IMMIGRATION EXECUTIVE ORDER AS UNLAWFUL


President Trump had fired the US Attorney General General Sally Yates when she defied him of the controversial executive order on immigration. This was made known through a statement issued on Monday by the white house Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.

She was fired after she refused to execute the executive order of President Trump on immigration which is aimed at protecting US citizens, calling it illegal.

in her words, She said, to in a statement issued to the lawyers at the department of justice, "I am responsible for ensuring that the decisions we took in court remains conssitent with this  institution solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right,

"at present i am not convinced that the defence of the executive order is consistent with these obligation nor am I convinced that the executive order is lawful".

Law had taken to his twitter account to condemn the action of the Chief law officer, satting same to be self serving and symbolic.

Yates was appointed by the former president Barrack Obama.

The White house had dismissed the wordings of the removed AG and stated same to be rhectoric, stating that President Trump acted in line with his Presidential powers.

A new Attorney General, Dana Boente had been sworn in immediately.

US WANTS MY LATE BROTHER, NOT ME: I WILL HIRE 40 OPC GUARDS TO DEFEND MYSELF; People will die before I'm extradicted- Kashamu


Buruji Kashamu, a senator representing Ogun East Constituency of Ogun State says two or three people will die before he can be extradicted to United States.

According to reports, the senator who is been charged with drug related offences had vowed to hire 40 Oodua peoples congress members to protect him.

maintaining his innocence, the Senator said, Adewale his late brother was the culprit not him.

in his words, he reportedly said,"I will go and hire OPC, maybe like 40, I will load them in my vehicle, maybe the day we meet, one had to kill one.

"That is for sure, one has to kill one, because i am not ready to go anywhere. Before that happens, maybe about two, three, four or five will have to die.

"The Benenoise Interpol Produced evidence showing that the Benin telephone lines through which the US offender communicated with their West Africa collaborators belongs to my brother, Adewale Kashamu and not me.

"When they were looking for him, the NDLEA went to his house, they searched his house, they went to his car company and sealed his car company and took over 30 vehicles that were there. He ran away"

He blamed his predicament on former president Olusegun Obasanjo, and pleading with the government of President Muhamodu Buhari to protect him.

"...Obasanjo had been pushing them, using one Sandra, a former ambassador to the United States, He is the one pushing everybody, meeting all these Judges, but what have I done? he said.

"there is no extradition that can be brought against me again, the only thing they can do is to watch and catch me on the road; throw me to the airport or Cotonou or throw me in a vessel and take me through the Atlantic Ocean, I am not going to let that happen" he said

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REACTS TO BAN OF US VISA ON NIGERIANS


Sequel to the new immigration policy of President Donald Trump that two years visa be ban on Nigerians citizens, the implementation of same would ban issuance of two years visa to Nigerians and a visa to the US will now have the validity of one year.

This policy of Trump is a payback effect of Nigerian immigration policy that gives a year visa to American at this time.

ARREST SULTAN OF SOKOTO NOW: FEMI FANI-KAYODE


The former Minister for Culture and Tourism and Special Assistance to the President on Public Affairs, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode had urged the Federal government to arrest the Sultan of Sokoto if it must arrest Apostle Johnson Suleiman against inciting comments.

The Ekiti State Governor had cautioned the Department of State Services of the Federation to stop their moves and plan to arrest and detain Apostle Suleiman and Bishop Oyedepo

The Governor alleged that "there is plan is plan to charge Apostle Suleiman and Bishop Oyedepo for incitement and an attempt to breach public peace and make sure they are not granted bail so that they remain perpetually in prison custody"

The Governor in his words said the planned act amounts to invitation for religious  crisis. He therefore warned the DSS to desist, as any attempt for such is to silence the men of god who had been preaching against attacks from terrorists, especially the herdsmen that had murdered thousands of Nigeria.

He advised that Federal Government insistence on its plan will hit up the polity and cause religious crisis.

Apostle Suleiman of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide and Bishop Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church through the preaching had been categorized as pastors that incites their followers against other religion members and herdsmen that had been responsible for killing of people in the country. Also in the train of visit was the renown Chief Adeniyi Akintola, SAN, the General Secratary of the NBA, Mr. Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, the Welfare Director of the NBA, Mr. A. Adegbite and other executive members of the NBA. Also in attendance are the members of the NBA, Ibadan Branch led by Mr. Akeem Agbaje who is the Chairman of the branch, The Ibadan branch Executive Members of the Young Lawyers Forum of the NBA, led by Richarmond O. Natha-Alade, the Chairman of the Forum and several other lawyers and well wishers.

Chief Bandele Aiku, SAN was reported to have died after a brief illness at the age of 81 on the 22nd day of January, 2017.

Chief Aiku was born on the 18th day of August, 1936. He was called to the English Bar in 1963. He was a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme court of Nigeria for over 50 years and the principal partner of Bandele Aiku & Co., one of the leading law firm in the country with head office in Ibadan, Oyo State since 1964.

Chief Aiku was born in Ijebu-Jesa, Headquarters of the present Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State.

Before his death, Chief Bandele Aiku was the Commissioner for works and Housing and later commissioner for works and Housing between 1975 and 1977 in the then Western and old Oyo States of Nigeria. He was also the Attorney General and Commissioner for justice between 1977 and 1979.

Chief Aiku was  noted for his meticulous and uncompromising attitudes to work, a fact that sets him high in his profession. He was also noted for his thorough and dexterous political influence among South West Lawyers Forum.

ARMED MEN ENTERED IMO COURT, ESCAPED WITH HIM AND WOUNDED A DOZEN


The High court of Imo State was invaded yesterday at the morning hour of the day when about 50  prison inmates were brought for trials in the Imo State high Court.

It was found out that the gun men numbering about 10 shot sporadically into the air for over 10 minuites to scare away all lawyers, prison officials, Judges, Policemen and all persons within the territory of the Imo State High Court at that particular time.

It was later found out that the gun men came on a rescue mission to take away one of their own, Henry Chibueze, who was a notorious kidnapper before his arrest in July, 2015.

The eye witness at the scene said, when the saw the armed men, people thought they were personnels from the Department of State Services (DSS) whom they supposedly believed came to court on a lawful mission.

The 26th day of January 2017 marked the end of dictatorial regime in Gambia as the new president of Gambia, Adama Barrow made a triumphant entry into Banjul the State capital of the Country.

You will recall that Yahya Jammeh who was the defeated president in the last Gambian Presidential election was forced into exile by the looming and threatened armed operation of ECOWAS troop when he failed to yield power to the newly elected president which caused his opponent to be inaugurated at the Gambian embassy in the neighboring Country of Senegal.

Before his exit, Mr. Jammeh had been accused of imprisoning, torturing and killing of his political opponents in Gambia.

Mr. Jammeh finally bowed to the pressure from international community who had advised him to peacefully hand over power to the newly elected or face military operation, African regions' military force action and same ended the 22 years of dictatorship.

The West African troops were poised to oust Jammeh if peace talk failed.
