YOUNG LAWYERS KICKS: PETITIONS AGAINST THE OUTRAGEOUS HIKE IN CONFERENCE FEES REGISTRATION

Pursuant to the decisions reached at the just concluded NEC meeting at Lokoja, Kogi State, part of which was the review in the conference fees payable by lawyers at this year annual conference scheduled to hold in Lagos State, The largest group of Lawyers under the Nigerian Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Forum of the NBA had protested; calling for the reversal of the said decision. It has become very apposite and inherently pertinent that young lawyers of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) make known their concern on the recently approved Annual General Conference (AGC) registration fee by the National Executive Committee.

WHY THIS YEAR NBA CONFERENCE FEES FOR LAWYERS WAS TRIPLED


The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) at its ongoing National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at Lokoja in Kogi state, has passed a resolution prescribing the date and the Fees Schedule for its Annual General Conference 2017 coming up at Eko Hotels in Lagos.
