#RevolutionNow: Femi Falana, SAN Slipped! He Compared Two Parallel Dead Ends – Richarmond O. Natha-Alade

Richarmond O. Natha-Alade
In my earlier publication of 4th August, 2019, titled: ‘REVOLUTION: Sowore was not properly advised, He may be sentenced to death’, I made symbolic view of the term and word ‘revolution’ by its semantics and etymology. I advanced same in relation the provisions of law with the conclusion that the usage of the word ‘Revolution’ by Sowore whose manifest intention was further enhanced and bloated by his conducts and utterances is tantamount to an act of treason and/or at least a treasonable felony punishable by death and /or life imprisonment.

REVOLUTION: Sowore was not properly advised, He may be sentenced to death - Richarmond O. Natha-Alade

Richarmond O. Natha-Alade

Today is another sad day, the day when youthful exuberance met another doom; the day we may continually remember another youth, not as martyr or hero but as scapegoat of ignorance and lawlessness.

Aruoriwoghene E. Oghounu

Mergers and acquisitions are external restructuring options available to companies. In Nigeria mergers and acquisitions have been creating waves during the past few years due to the grim state of the economy. Most companies have been unable to continue their operations because of the bad state of economy and the adverse effect on these companies. Therefore, in some sectors of the economy, there has been government intervention to stabilize some of these companies; examples are 9 Mobile and Skye Bank (now Polaris Bank). NYSC: Seven Sins of Davido and the Punishments under the Law- Richarmond O. Natha-Alade

Richarmond O. Natha-Alade
In recent time, the calls and wakes of the need to serve Nigeria under the one year compulsory service mandated under the enabling Act had jostle with the recent realities of sacks, resignations and disqualifications (among others) of erring Nigerians who became graduates at and/or before Thirty but failed to participate in the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) scheme at all spheres of our economy and national life.

10 SALIENT FEATURES OF THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2011

Nigeria’s new Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which was signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan on the 28 May 2011, contains far reaching provisions capable of transforming the clandestine system of governance that has, until now, been the norm of Nigeria’s public institutions. The underlying philosophy of the Act is that public officers are custodians of a public trust on behalf of a population who have a right to know what they do. In particular, the FOIA promises to remove the aura of mystery and exclusion with which public servants clothe the ordinary operations of government and public institutions and manage public records and information. This brief article highlights the ten most significant provisions of the FOIA

THE GREATEST PROBLEM OF AN AVERAGE IGBO PERSON- Natha-Alade

Richarmond O. Natha-Alad
Igbo people are blessed. They are not just blessed but blessed as other tribes of this nation and Africa in general.

As hardworking and determined an average Igbo man is, the inability to manage this blessing had made it a curse on many of our men from the Igbo extraction of Nigeria; just as the nation's crude oil that should ordinarily be a blessing to Nigerians had turned a curse; same oil had caused us divisions along ethnic, political, economic and religious lines and sentiments.

Reactions to PMB Hausa Message Shows Most Nigerians Are Whited Sepulchers- Natha-Alade

Richarmond Natha-Alade
Following the audio message said to have been sent by President Buhari in Hausa Language for broadcast on BBC Hausa Station, which was also conveyed to all Nigerians, extending the presidency complimentary advice and wishes to all, the said message was greeted with a lot of criticisms and condemnations, particularly because of the language the President recorded the message. I was therefore moved to ask, why do Nigerians criticize and/or condemn everything?
